You can’t say that Glen is always in the right place at the right time, but you can tell by looking at his photographs, he sure has a knack of being involved in some crazy places at the perfect time. Early skateboarding, early hip-hop, early Fugazi—that’s right, Fugazi is a category all their own. Glen has been documenting Fugazi from day one. Anyone who bought their CDs in the early 90s was holding Glen’s photographs as well. This book is a tour de force of emotions for a fan who is hoping on a daily basis to hear something about their ‘hiatus’ coming to an end. Anyone who has seen Fugazi live can understand. For me, every concert I see now is compared, failingly, to Fugazi. Nothing beats them. Glen has captured that essence, as well as very candid off stage images that are only gained by a trusted insider. If you know anything about Fugazi or Glen’s work (Fuck You Heroes, anyone?) then you already know the instant you see this book, it will be in your collection.
